Yeah, but *why* should POP3 be a problem? It's an old tried and true technology that's been around for years and never exhibited this symptom (for me) on any other platform until the iPhone. Yes, I have my settings *not* delete the e-mail from the server on the iPhone side. And it would make sense if I were logging into my computer proper and it was deleting e-mail from the server and *then* the iPhone had the problem, but that's not it. Brand new e-mail, on the iPhone does it.

Personally I think it's Yahoo (whom AT&T/SBCGlobal offloaded their e-mail support onto). Yahoo has always had pathetic infrastructure. I inherited a website hosted on Yahoo that I had to maintain and it was a joke. Similar types of "unexplained" issues constantly. I finally gave up and moved it to another hosting company where it has been running trouble-free ever since. It's Yahoo.

Hi Steve,

The incoming server name would be imap.tvmi.co.uk - have a look at my screen dumps at http://www.micropulse.com.au/FAQs.html

Thanks for the tip about setting up the enom email on the iphone as an IMAP account...as I'm having the same problems as you.
However, can I ask, what do you put for the incoming server host name...which before I would have put as pop.tvmi.co.uk?
Many thanks,
STEVE

And now I'm listed back in position 6 on the first page as at 23rd June!!
Possibly it's because I had an almost duplicate page on another site, but I'm not sure this is the problem.
Perhaps it's necessary to keep submitting the URL to Google and Bind to ensure that it stays in it's position.
Does anyone else have this problem?
