deCMS is a demo site for my new content management system called deadeasyCMS. This is the information or brochure style web site that is perfect for small to medium sized businesses. deCMS is a javascript based CMS.
The data/content is stored in an XML database which is edited via a javascript program. The editing is wysiwyg and dead easy to use. There is no limit on the number of web pages. The menu is made up from the web page items in a tree structure. Each menu item can have a sub menu group which can have unlimited menu items. The sub menu can be displayed vertically under the menu item, or horizontally beheath the main menu.
The web pages are generated from a template at the click of a button and will automatically overwrite the previous version of the web site. The content for each page is dropped into the template and saved as a separate web page.
The program also generates a sitemap web page and a sitemap.xml.
The template can be edited to change the look of your site, change the title, keywords, etc for SEO purposes and to allow you to change the google analytics settings, and much more.
There are many features built in to deCMS - email to a friend, login, registration, lightbox style display of pictures, fill in forms, javascript slideshows, etc.

deCMSOrder is the demo site for my shopping cart system. It is a javascript based CMS with integrated shopping cart.
The products are stored in an XML database which is edited via a javascript program.
There are unlimited categories, subcategories and products. Each product can have 2 sets of options to handle things like colour and size.
The shopping cart page is created dynamically via javascript. Cookies hold the selected cart items so they are available the next time they browse your site. The shopping cart generates an invoice, emails both you and the shopper with the order details and accepts payment via Paypal, direct debit or cheque/money order. Freight can be on a per item basis or on a weight basis.

The program can also be customised to exactly suit your business.

ArtzWide is an online art gallery selling reproductions and originals in oils, acrylics and mixed media.
The web site is written using the eOrderCMS template which allows them to control their content and product list.
The eOrderCMS software was customised for this site to handle their pricing and freight. The pricing is based on the size of the picture, so the program has been modified to handle this via the selection of sizes. The program also allows the customer to choose a custom sized frame. The freight is based on a per piece method, but under some circumstances, the freight will be manually calculated and the customer will be advised of the final price.
The program handles this in the invoice by showing 'To be advised'.
Therefore, the program handles variables and unknowns and can act as an order, rather than a finished purchase.

Rochelle Jones Synergy Performance Studios is a new dance studio which has just opened in Brookvale. Rochelle needed a web presence that would showcase her new studio, provide information to her students and attract new students. She also needed a billing system for her termly fees.
The eOrderCMS software was used for this site to provide the basic content and the shopping cart software was modified to handle her billing system. Instead of selling products, Rochelle sells classes, so the software was modified to handle this. Rochelle also has a sliding scale discounting system for her fees and this was written into the software also.

The eOrderCMS software was used for this site to provide the basic web site content. The product list integrates well with the content to provide information about their products. The display of the categories and products has been modified to provide far more detail about the products that the standard shopping cart. The shopping cart will be expanded to offer consumables such as toner, paper, etc.
