Each time a menu item is selected, the program gets the matching xml content and displays it as a new page. eOrderCMS is very simple but also very powerful. It doesn't have the strict security of other CMSs (just a login), but this also allows for ease of use. It is perfect for small operators who want a 'do it yourself' web site. The editor is easy to use and 'wysiwyg'. However, html code can also be used, if preferred by toggling between the modes. The backend of the system is written in asp.net. The main purpose of the backend is to save the files - all other work is done by javascript and AJAX http calls.
